Gravedigger Jones
This one features my Spector NS-6P custom running through my WT800 and a 410XLT. We mic'd the cab and took a direct from the back of the amp. We then added a subharmonic to it. There are 4 rhythm guitar parts and a lead track -- all done by yours truly -- the first time I ever played guitar in session. Vocals doubled live -- not by machine -- to experiment. Drums by Chris Salamone, my producer.

Underground
This is my Fender Squire A/E bass. For this one, we only took the direct out of the amp...no cabinet. The only other "instrument" is the shaker we programmed as a click guide. It bled through the headphones when recording the vocals.

We did virtually no "fixing" on either track as we never expected anyone else to hear them. We didn't even fade the endings We ran out of time, so we didn't record the "solo" bass at the end of Underground, so there's a lot of the main bass figure after the final verse.
