This is - without a doubt - the strangest piece of figured Maple I've ever seen. I mean, this is your basic "Maple on drugs" scenario. It's perfect!

I first heard and played a Renaissance in 1998. I was blown away by the tonal possibilities and the light weight. Finally, after 5 more years of research, I knew there was nothing else even close, and the Fretless Wonder was conceived.

Once again, I find myself stretching boundaries and discovering new territory.It's a truly inspiring instrument.
